Bike Shelters
CycleSafe bicycle shelters provide the covered, short-term parking desired by many bicyclists and the expandability and adaptability demanded by parking officials. To create a new short-term parking area, CycleSafe shelters can be combined with the company’s inverted-U racks and wall racks. A site already featuring bike racks can add shelters to create a covered parking option. Shelters are expandable to meet the needs of any site and have storage capacity ranging from four to ten bicycles with standard inverted-U racks and wallracks. Parking capacity doubles when using CycleSafe’s hi-density wallracks. Side panels made of Plexiglass, wire mesh or perforated metal also are available, providing additional protection from the elements and options for signage placement. All CycleSafe shelters meet the government standards for Class-2 bicycle parking.
